A Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Award supports a recipient who teaches abroad for a year as a native English speaker assistant in a K-12 or university setting. JAMES MADISON MEMORIAL FOUNDATION FELLOWSHIP
he James Madison Memorial Foundation Fellowship offers $24,000 for graduate study at the master's level to individuals desiring to become outstanding teachers of the American Constitution at the secondary school level. Fellowship applicants compete only against other applicants from the states of their legal residence. As funding permits, the Foundation plans to offer one fellowship per state per year.
KNOWLES TEACHING INITIATIVES
Knowles Teacher Initiative (KTI) Teaching Fellowships are intended to support beginning high school science and mathematics teachers in the United States. KTI offers one of the most comprehensive fellowship programs in the nation for STEM teachers starting their first or second year of teaching. The KTI Teaching Fellowship is a five-year program divided into three phases, with each phase building upon the next. Fellows receive professional development, financial support, classroom materials and more. Approximately 35 teachers are selected each year.

Math for America (MfA) Early Career Fellowships provide promising public secondary school mathematics and science teachers the support they need to become outstanding educators and to grow in their profession. MƒA Early Career Teachers begin their fellowship in their 2nd - 4th years of teaching and are dedicated to deepening their understanding of mathematics or science content and pedagogy.
STEM PROFESSIONALS AS EDUCATORS & TEACHER LEADERS
Georgia State University in partnership with the Fulton County Schools and the Rockdale County Public Schools offers the SPETL scholarship opportunity for STEM professionals to pursue careers as STEM Teachers and Teacher Leaders. SPETL is an acronym for STEM Professionals as Educators and Teacher Leaders. This is a National Science Foundation-funded project designed to strengthen the STEM teacher workforce. The two major goals of the project are to 1) recruit and prepare STEM Professionals who are willing to commit to teaching, and remain as highly-effective teachers in high-need middle and high schools, and 2) engage STEM Professionals in robust and innovative professional learning experiences for their development as teacher leaders.
WOODROW WILSON TEACHING FELLOWSHIP
The Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship seeks to attract talented, committed individuals with backgrounds in the STEM fields—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics—into teaching in high-need secondary schools in Georgia and Pennsylvania.Eligible applicants include current undergraduates, recent college graduates, midcareer professionals, and retirees who have majored in, or have extensively studied, one or more of the STEM fields.
